About this tool

What are Open Graph tags?

Open Graph is a set of meta tags, first created by Facebook, that tell social platforms and messaging apps which title, description and image to show when a link is shared. Without them, apps guess, and often pick a random image or cut the text awkwardly.

X uses its own Twitter Card tags but falls back to Open Graph for most fields, so this generator outputs both. A strong share image matters most: a clear 1200 × 630 pixel graphic with a short headline gets noticeably more clicks than a cropped photo.
